I was born in Sallent, close to Barcelona, and I started singing at the age of 10 in the children's choir Escolania de Montserrat. Some years later I started my soloist studies with Joaquim Proubasta, who convinced me to leave my work as journalist and focus myself on singing. That's why in 2001 I went to Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany) attracted by the german Lied. My tutor there was Reginaldo Pinheiro who made me discover the opera world aswell. I obtained the degrees of «Kunstlerische Ausbildung» and «Solisten Studium» in the specialities of Lied-Oratorio and Opera, both with the best qualifications.

My opera coaching finished in the Opera-studio in Strasburg (France), where I made my first steps on stage during two years. At the same time I wanted to test myself in some singing competitions and the result were some important prices crowned in 2009 with the Placido Domingo price and the Second price in the International Singing Competition Francisco Viñas

As a professional, I have sung in the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile, the Opéra National du Rhin, Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, Teatro Real of Madrid, Capitole de Toulouse, Palau de les Arts de València, among others. I have had the chance of being conducted by Zubin Mehta, Sebastian Weigle, Sylvain Cambreling, Enrico Delamboye, Josep Pons or Salvador Mas. I have enjoyed singing, among others the roles of Tamino in «Die Zauberflöte», Idomeneo in «Idomeneo» of W.A. Mozart, Tom Rakewell in I. Stravinsky's «The Rake's progress», Nadir in «Les pecheurs de perles» of G. Bizet or Andres in «Wozzeck» of Alban Berg.

When I'm free between my opera projects, I really enjoy singing recitals and oratorios. I have sung along Europe in concert halls as the Capitole de Toulouse, l'Opéra National du Rhin a Estrasburg o in the Rosenblatt Recital Series of Londres.

I recently sang Tamino in the world tour of Peter Brook's adaptation of Die Zauberflöte. We visited Argentina, Chile, Brasil, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, South Corea, Australia, Hong Kong, Italy, France and Russia. I specialy enjoy the work with stage directors as Peter Brook, Christoph Marthaler, Laurent Pelly, Mariame Clément, Willy Decker or David Pountney.
